Heath Ledger Dead

Heath Ledger was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Tuesday. NYPD say drugs may have played a factor in the 28-year-old’s sudden death.

NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said a masseuse was scheduled to come in the afternoon. Ledger’s housekeeper went to tell him the masseuse had arrived and found him dead around 3:30 p.m.

Ledger met his wife Michelle Williams in 2005 on the set of ‘Brokeback Mountain.’ They have a daughter Matilda. Ledger and Williams announced their separation last year.

His screen credits include ‘A Knight’s Tale,’ ‘The Patriot,’ and ‘Monster’s Ball.’ His last film was ‘I’m Not There,’ which was nominated for an Oscar.
