Nicole Richie is due to give birth to her first child “sometime in the next week,” according to her boyfriend’s older brother, Josh. Richie and Joel Madden began dating in December 2006, right after his split from long time girlfriend Hilary Duff.
After several weeks of pregnancy rumors circulating, Richie and Madden confirmed the reports to Diane Sawyer during a TV interview last July.
The pair have yet to reveal the sex of the baby and Josh Madden insists the family doesn’t know either. “We don’t know what [gender] it is. We don’t know any names. I’m being completely honest, I swear!” he says.
