Sources say Britney Spears had “no plans” to appear in court today for a hearing that will determine if she is able to have visitation rights with her two sons. The singer was “strongly advised” by her law team to attend the hearing but it seems as if Spears did not take their advice.
The 26-year-olds ex-husband Kevin Federline appeared fro the hearing. He currently has sole legal and physical custody of their children.
Spears’ visitation rights were taken away after a custody standoff with Federline on Jan. 3. The singer refused to give the children back to their father. She was rushed to the hospital and put on lock down for mental evaluation. Police and paramedics at the scene will testify today. Spears nor Federline were required by the court to attend.
