Samsung Galaxy S2 arrives with a super AMOLED plus displays that measure 4.27 inches, there is also a 1GHz dual core processor and comes with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It has an 8 megapixel camera on the rear side and a 2 megapixel camera on the front for video chat, it is capable to record and playback HD video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. Samsung fans were keenly waiting for Samsung Galaxy S2.

HTC Arrive Windows 7 Phone

HTC Arrive is the new smartphone manufactured by Taiwanese for U.S. mobile operator Sprint, running on Microsoft Windows 7 operating system and bringing one of the most requested features of copy and paste. HTC Arrive is a model with capacitive touch screen of 3.6-inch diagonal WVGA resolution with multitouch and Qualcomm Snapdragon processor of 1GHz to control everything.

The Arrive HTC also includes a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and sound recording 720p HD, 16GB memory expandable via microSD, stereo Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, access to Xbox Live services and Sprint Zone, Sprint TV and Movies as well as NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile.

 

Samsung Galaxy Pro Smartphone

Samsung Galaxy Pro is the most recent addition in Galaxy smartphone series. It is a touch screen phone with a diagonal of 2.8 inches, which is deployed in a horizontal, rather than the more traditional upright position. The display of this smartphone is capacitive, but its resolution is not reported.

Samsung Galaxy Pro has the QWERTY keyboard, which makes the smartphone easy to send text messages and emails, as well as the use of social networks. Galaxy Pro will be installed a special client Samsung Hub to work with popular social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. This smartphone will be running the mobile OS Android 2.2, which will be installed on top of proprietary interface TouchWiz. Galaxy Pro is equipped with three mega pixel camera on the back panel, as well as the 800 MHz processor. The sales start date and price of this smartphone is not known yet. 

Broadcom Dual-Core Processor for Android

Broadcom has announced the BCM2157 dual-core baseband processor for Smartphone’s that promises high performance also in low-end terminals especially for 3G Android devices. Broadcom (BCM2157) baseband dual-core processor contains 500 MHz power, with a lower price than its competitors in its class. The chip also supports 3G modem for 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, compatibility with HVGA multi-touch display, a 5MP camera and has the ability to use dual-SIM. It also offers dual-core ARM processors for simultaneous applications processing and dedicated modem support. Some other features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC solutions are also supported.
