The Cannes International Film Festival, founded in 1946, is the most prestigious film festival in the world. This private festival is held annually ,usually in May, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, in the resort town of Cannes, in the south of France. The 64th edition was scheduled to be held from 11 May to 22 May 2011. The President of the Jury is American actor Robert De Niro
