Jonathan Mostow directed Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and The Sarah Connor Chronicles was created by Josh Friedman, though, none of these people are James Cameron. They don’t have the mind of James Cameron. They’re just people who thought what would happen after Terminator 2: Judgment Day and decided to make a movie and television show after it. So my question is, according to the mind of the Terminator films, what really and truly happens after Terminator 2: Judgment Day?

Personally, I think after T2, everything was put right. Skynet, never came into being, because that fella Miles blew everything up. At the end of the flick, the “bad” Terminator got melted, along with Arnie and the left-over “arm” from the original Terminator. The end. The big studios just wanted mega bucks and hired Jonathan Mostow to direct a third. Cameron should never have sold the rights to the franchise. By doing that, he killed the golden goose. Cameron also should have been the one to come up with a story line for T3, if it had been needed. I hear talk of a fourth. Surely the Terminator itself, should be terminated.
