The 'Desperate Housewives' star - who gave birth to twin daughters Eden and Savannah, her first children with husband Tom Mahoney, in February - admits parenting has made her "scarily happy!"
She said: "I'm deliriously happy. I mean, I'm scarily happy. Oh my goodness, I mean life is so precious so I just value every day and every gift."
Marcia also revealed she has been using her time off from 'Desperate Housewives', which is currently off-air due to the Writers' Guild of America strikes in Hollywood, to bond with her ten-month old daughters.
She told People magazine: "It's fantastic! I mean, obviously it's terrible for the larger picture, but when I am with my daughters it's just glorious, so I'm enjoying that."
The 45-year-old actress also revealed she will be spending Christmas at home with Tom and the girls.
She said: "It's our first Christmas together as a family, and it's probably going to be sort of quiet. I want to go out and take a hike in the woods and have a day of outdoors activities. Just all kids, all day. It will be fun."
